Tripfabrik is a Media Production Company founded by Chris Janzen (Vj Tripfabrik) specialized in Veejaying (Live Visuals) of Authentic & Genuine Video-Footage exclusively indigenous filmed and produced in various Locations all over the World - delightful reality brought to you through a distinctive composition of moving Images which display today’s life spirit from a different perspective. The Experiences and Adventures and affectation for Video- and Photography in combination with his self-studies in Media and Video Production, Graphic-, Web-Design and Photography, made him found and establish Tripfabrik.
In Spring 2004 Tripfabrik was part of a team producing a pilot for an MTV Europe TV-Format based on a Travel Show Concept in association with a Media Production Company in Berlin. Since 2005 Vj Tripfabrik was involved in several events in Germany, casually starting to play Live Music Concerts in Germany and China, such as the Lijiang Snow Mountain Music Festival. In a different ambience since 2007, as a creative resident of China, Tripfabrik got involved into various events around the country participating Events at The Cellar, Noxxi and Pub de Chord in Guangzhou (China), The Bank Lounge & Club and White Rabbit in Beijing (China), Dragonfly, Bird Bar and Cafe Kafka in Dali, Yunnan where he acted for about 2 years as a resident Vj, Dj and being responsible for organising Events. In 2008 the co-operation with the Science of Sounds - SOS Core Electronic Music Branch brought Vj Tripfabrik to play the Warehouse 135 in Manila, Phillipines. Collaborating with several International Artists keeps Tripfabrik involved in Projects and Events throughout Asia and Europe. In 2009 Tripfabrik- in co-operation with Renaud Sips and William Lovell- organised a 2 Day Music Festival in the Tianlongbabu Movie Town near Dali Old Town in Yunnan Province, China. The latest Project in 2010 is a 55 minutes Vj-Set for “Nachtschicht Tv“ produced by Vj Tripfabrik with Music mixed by Dj Jonspecta, broadcasted on Alex TV Berlin. Over these Years Tripfabrik has been co-operating with International Artists like Agoria, Toni Varga, Impulse, Dj Clear, Jonspecta, Marula, GeRoniMo, Renaud Sips, William Lovell, Siku, Lupen aka Crokan, Thome Tomato, J.Swarz, Geoff-X, Pokut Music, Dynablaster Soundsystem, DeLaCrew and the Science of Sounds. In 2007 Chris Janzen started a Panoramic Photography and Webdesign Project called Dali 360. In 2009 American writer Daniel Reid, author of two dozen books on various aspects of Chinese culture and travel, will soon begin work on a large format, full color book of photographs and text.
